Cosy Cot

Belle has not been happy to sleep in her cot, I think she has found it a bit large and daunting after the Moses basket. I was considering cot bumpers but they get very mixed reviews regarding safety and then Poodle suggested some long 'pillows'. I wizzed them up and here are the before and after shots.

They are stuffed with part of an old duvet that I cut up which is very lightweight but Belle loves to snuggle up to them and now she sleeps in her cot almost all night! I remove the large cushion when Belle sleeps at night but it's nice for her to cuddle into when she plays during the day.

Yayyy, that's wonderful that Poodle's suggestion has done the trick. LOVE the pillows, the material is beautiful. Where did you get it from? Is Mummy sleeping better now at night, now Belle is?? xx

well, Mummy is sleeping better in between 2-3 feeds a night!!! I need to work on that now, but at least I don't have a wriggler in with me any more!!!

the original material (right hand bolster and large pillow) is same as the curtains and the nappy stacker that I made with it - I think it was called Harlequin and I got it from eBay. However, ran out so I bought the material for the left bolster in Fabric World in LB
