a christening gift

I have been very neglectful of adding news to the site - have had my head down and furiously stitching away for a deadline. It's little Issy's christening this coming weekend (friend from work and thus Issy is Belle's playmate) and I was not impressed with the selection of pressies I could see (silver rattles etc) so I decided to stitch a birth sampler. Had to get it completed and then framed ready for the day and thankfully I have managed it without too much of a last minute rush.

That's beautiful and very unique which makes it even more special.

Are you guys doing a christening for B? We haven't for Boncie as we are not religious so didn't really see the need. If down the track he decides to become some full on religious nut, he can then get himself done - so to speak.

PS) the clothes I made for Belle are very rough, I would not be offended if you didn't want to use them. I am def. not a sewer, not my strength at all.

HOpe she likes the dust buster. Thought it could go with her other cleaning items :-) We took it out of the packaging as it was in a big box which was not only massive, but heavy.

It's going to get cold here soon so will have to pull out the knitting bag, love knitting in the cold weather. Have joined our local gym which I'm loving. Have just started back on Weight Watchers, thought I best given I'm exercising daily (6am before the boys surface). Day two on WW, so far so good.

Hope your diet is going well also.

xoxo

Happy cleaning :-)

That’s a really lovely gift to have as a baby and something they’ll probably really appreciate when they are older – rather like a plate you hang on the wall with all your birth details on – not that I’d know of course.
