In the end the firebasket we had was too big so had to buy another one. A local Blacksmith made the frame for us and BB laid the grey brick hearth.
and our first fire! Still have a bit more work to do - re-painting the wall and adding some sort of mantle shelf. Just in time for Christmas.

Oh now that looks cosy. We could have done with that here over the last two days - oddly cold.
Oh WOW, that looks beautiful well done! I can't wait to sit in front of it when we are over next. Would LOVE to come for Belle's 2nd Birthday that would be fun! We could make the little tea cup biscuits!! AND cake of course!!
